acreom is Now Open-Source

We are now fulfilling our long-time commitment to open souring acreom and opening it up to the community.

With this announcement we are also announcing that we have decided to stop working on acreom actively. We have had few amazing years building a tool we wanted to use ourselves with the great community of users who rely on acreom every day. We thought long and hard about this decision as we love what we were doing with acreom. However, acreom not growing quickly enough to be break even made us reevaluate our efforts.

Hundreds of developers including us rely on acreom every day. With your amazing support we are able to pay the infrastructure bills and therefore Free and PRO acreom cloud features will continue functioning.

We will still be active in the community, we will fix critical bugs and do occasional updates, though we won't be actively developing acreom. However, we will stay committed to supporting further development on acreom by managing the open-source.

To make acreom sustainable in long-term, we are also dropping the subscription prices to enable more users to support it's continuation.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who has supported us with the feedback or subscription. We wouldn't be able to build acreom without you ❤️.
